This unique home had belonged to the same family and remained unrenovated for a period of over 50 years. With a corner plot and associated challenging floorplan complete with several unusual angles, this project involved a complete reconfiguration of layout. This renovation involved stripping the house back to the maximum; and then removing and redesigning walls as necessary to maximise the light penetration and usability of this unusual space.A glazed, sloped-roof extension helped to minimise the interior / exterior barrier - and contributed to the project's significant profitability.
